BIO

Since1987, after earning his M.Ed. in Instructional Design at the University of North Carolina at UNC-Chapel Hill, he has been developing science education programs and materials for K-12 and university educators and students. In 1999, he began working with Duke's Center for Inquiry-Based Learning (CIBL) to help design programs and provide training in inquiry-based science teaching in K-8 classrooms. Prior to 1987, he taught middle and high school science, math and music.
