BIO

Carey Tisdal founded Tisdal Consulting in 2004 to offer visitor studies and interpretive planning services to the informal learning community. The mission of Tisdal Consulting is to enhance the design of experiences in informal settings to engage, enlighten, and empower learners. Services include audience research; program and exhibition evaluation; interpretative planning; and evaluation training. To this she brings nearly 25 years of experience as an evaluator and instructional developer. She has a special interest in how teams of people with diverse expertise and perspectives use evaluation findings to inform decision-making, technology in learning, and narrative strategies in exhibition design.
