BIO
Tracy Irish is currently the Director of Research and Evaluation for the UMBC BCPS Stem project. Tracy was a researcher in molecular biology for 15 years and transitioned into teacher education where she developed the course curriculum for a new biotechnology magnet program in a public school system. Tracy taught in the biotechnology magnet program as well as acting magnet cluster chair. Tracy is currently working on her PhD in Language, Literacy, and Culture hoping to use the UMBC-BCPS Stem initiative to research the development of STEM Academies from a new tool that she developed, The STEM Academy Measurement Tool and Rubric.EXPERTISE
