I have a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia, a Masters degree in Agricultural Education and a Bachelors degree in Food Science from The University of Georgia in Athens as well as an Associate degree in Applied Science from the State University of New York. I taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade Health for 1 year and taught Earth Science in Cobb County Schools for 12 years. I also taught advanced and Gifted Science classes. While teaching in Cobb County, I served as the science coordinator at Lindley Middle School for 8 years. I also sponsored several activities such as Student That Accepts Responsibility program (S.T.A.R), Student of the Month, United Culture Club, and Science Club.

I was voted member of the School Council for Lindley Middle School for 2 years. I was nominated for the Atlanta Constitution Teacher of the Year Award/Honor Program and the Disney Hand Teacher Award Program.
