Angela Belli

In her role as Environmental Education Center Director for Saint Vincent College for the past six years, Ms. Belli develops and implements a variety of environmental education teacher workshops, field study experiences, and other outreach dissemination activities for promoting public awareness and maximizing educational opportunities of Saint Vincent's watershed restoration program and environmental education center. Funding for this work includes grants from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA-DEP) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); Ms. Belli is coordinator for all grant-funded activity. She also is instructor in Saint Vincent's undergraduate program in environmental studies. Ms. Belli holds an M.S. in environmental science and management from Duquesne University and a certificate in Biology Education. She served as Director and Instructor for the Teacher Enhancement Institute in Science and Math funded by the PA Department of Education's Eisenhower Professional Development Program. She serves as Project Director for the PA DEP Environmental Education Grant Project for Needs Assessment of Environmental Education Content/Pedagogy in Teacher Preparation at Saint Vincent College. Ms. Belli is a facilitator for the PA Department of Education's Project WET, Project Learning Tree, Wonders of Wetlands, Out of the Rock; the PA Game Commission's Project WILD; the Aldo Leopold Project, and the Monarch Larvae Monitoring Project. She is a member of Pennsylvania Science Teachers Association, North American Association for Environmental Education, Pennsylvania Alliance for Environmental Education, and the Association for Nature Center Administrators.
