BIO
Since graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, I've been teaching children and adults since 1980. My Masters of Education degree is in Elementary Mathematics. Currently, I am teaching first grade in the state of Pennsylvania, but I have also taught in South Carolina and Africa, where I spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer. Though a fanatic about the importance of mathematics in the primary grades I am also an enthusiastic backpacker and have spent portions of my summers completing sections of the Appalachian Trail. This past school year, 2004-2005, I served as a Teacher Leader for the MSP Academy.EXPERTISE
