BIO

As Director of Math, Science and Technology at Northeastern Illinois University's Center for College Access and Success, Roxana designs, develops, and implements STEM program services for underserved Chicago-area students and teachers. Roxana received her Master's degree from New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program and has a Bachelors degree in both English and Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Illinois in Chicago, where she is focusing on curriculum development for computational thinking in informal education environments, like makerspaces.
