BIO

In 1997, Robert Michael McKay joined the faculty at Bowling Green State University where he serves as the Ryan Professor of Biology. While remaining active in oceanographic research, Professor McKay's research area has expanded to include large lakes where he studies the biogeochemical cycling of nutrients and winter limnology. He is the author of over 65 peer-reviewed manuscripts and currently serves as Principal Investigator on grants from the National Science Foundation and the DOE Joint Genome Institute.
