Rob Siegel

Mr. Siegel currently serves as the Coordinator of STEM Initiatives (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) for the Educational Service District 112 in Vancouver, Washington. Prior to this, he served as assistant researcher for the Center for Science Education at Portland State University and Teacher on Special Assignment for the Parkrose School District in Portland, OR, for their Connect2ScienceConnect2Math program. During the 25 years he lived with his family in Chile, he worked for the Department of Defense Schools and also founded an all-English immersion school of which he was Headmaster. He has extensive experience as a curriculum and assessment specialist and written publications for the Oregon Department of Health and Human Services as well as the United Nations Publications on Sustainable Development. He is a faculty member at Oregon State University and helped develop the Double Degree Program in Education and the Mentored Masters Program Online Distance Learning. He developed the syllabus for the course he currently teaches for the OSU College of Education on Using Assessment to Improve Instruction and Learning as well as the revised course on Politics, Policy and Advocacy in Education. Mr. Siegel completed his Masters of Educational Leadership at the University of Oregon and holds a valid Oregon Certificate of Administrative Licensure for K-12.
