BIO

Don Franceschetti received his BS degree from Brooklyn College (1969) and Princeton University (1974). Following six years as a Postdoctoral fellow in Physics Departments, he was hired as an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Memphis and worked through the ranks. As a young Department Chair he was involved in teacher preparation reformthrough Project 30 and more recently through the Tennessee UTeach replication, from which he was removed by his Dean, in order to "take the project in a different direction."
