BIO

DELIA M. KUNDIN, Ph.D., is a research associate at the University of Minnesota's Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement (CAREI). Kundin has over 15 years of experience designing and conducting program evaluations and survey research in a variety of settings. Her expertise includes management of complex evaluation projects relating to education policy, teacher professional development, and program effectiveness in K-12 schools, colleges and universities, and non-profit organizations. She is currently evaluating two large scale programs with a focus on teacher professional development and student outcomes including the University of Minnesota's EngrTEAMS , and the McKnight Foundation's Education and Learning Program focused on PK-3 early literacy. Her previous engineering projects include the Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP) Programs in Education and Outreach, and the Neuro-Physical-Computational Sciences Training Program. Kundin received her doctorate in Evaluation Studies from the Department of Educational Policy and Administration at the University of Minnesota in 2008. Before joining CAREI she was assistant director for the St. Norbert College Survey Center in DePere, Wisconsin, and a strategic planning consultant to the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin and the College of Menominee Nation (CMN) in Keshena, WI. Kundin has also held evaluation consultant positions with the Florida Center for Public Management at Florida State University, and MGT of America, Inc.
