BIO

Dr. Todd Kelley received his B.S. in technology education from S.U.N.Y Oswego, an M.A. in Industrial Technology from Ball State University, and Ph.D. in Technology Education from the University of Georgia in 2008. Dr. Kelley was a national fellow with the Center for Engineering and Technology Education (NCETE). He taught and middle and high school technology education for nine years in New York and Indiana. As a middle school teacher in Bloomington, IN, Dr. Kelley received a Lilly Creativity Fellowship and a Fulbright Memorial Scholarship to travel to England and Japan.  

EXPERTISE

Research Interests: Research exploring the construct of design and cognition capabilities within middle school and high school students. Exploring the impact design based instruction has on learning STEM topics at the primary and secondary level. Conducting expert / novice design and problem solving observational protocol assessments.
