Elizabeth Wolzak

PROFESSIONAL ROLES

BIO

Ms. Wolzak has extensive experience in face-to-face and online teaching, as well as training experience for post secondary education. She has lead instructional teams in the production and delivery of technology-based learning environments for formal and informal education, and training environments. As an instructional designer, she has developed self-paced and facilitated web-based courses. Her experience also includes the design and production of online instructional materials for professional development and training. She designed over 45, 30-hour professional development online courses for PBS TeacherLine, a program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. She managed the development of over 250 modules for school-based professional developers such as mentors, instructional coaches and teacher leaders in the areas of science, math, instructional technology, and reading language arts. Project lead for the development of two online PD courses about learning and teaching Global Climate Change and STEM in middle school and high school. This project is funded through a grant awarded to PBS TeacherLine by the NASA's Global Climate Change Education Program.

Ms. Wolzak is a certified professor of Monterrey's Institute of Technology (ITESM.) She is also certified by the University of Twente in The Netherlands as a facilitator of online training courses for professors developing courses using Project Oriented Learning (POL.) Mr. Wolzak is fully bilingual (Spanish-English.)
