BIO

Dr. Holly MacLean has been the Supervisor Principal of the Treasure Valley Mathematics and Science Center since July 2004. TVMSC is a partnership magnet school program within Boise School District that is offered to public, private and home-schooled students in Southwest Idaho. TVMSC is a unique learning community offering highly challenging science, mathematics and applied research classes to students who show strong interest, ability and potential in mathematics and science fields in 7th through 12th grades. Students in the program range in age from 8 to 17 years and work at a high school or college level.

Prior to joining TVMSC and Boise School District, Holly was the mathematics content supervisor with Alief School District in Houston, Texas. During this same time, Holly was also an adjunct professor for math methods with University of Houston, in addition to working as a consultant and editor for several textbook companies. Holly has also served as a teacher and/or administrator in school districts in Colorado, California and Vancouver, Canada.
