BIO

Carol Lach began her career as a middle school math and science teacher with a Master's degree in Education from Cornell University. She worked in cancer research and in the high tech industry following completion of her Ph.D. in from Purdue University. Her 12 years of corporate experience include management, corporate training, and technology support. More recently, she has spent 8 years as the Educational Technology Specialist in a public school in Framingham Massachusetts. Here, she taught, provided professional development and support, and collaborated with teachers to develop innovative, curriculum-based technology projects. Carol has presented at two NECC meetings in 2001 and 2002, and has been published in Learning and Leading with Technology. She has been with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education since February of 2003, initially as an Intructional Technology Specialist and as Math Coordinator since November of 2007.
