BIO

Dr. Chidiebere Onyia is the Managing Partner in the Center for Education Reform and Sustainability Initiative (CERSI) which founded in 2007. He also serves as the Special Projects Director/Grants for the Lynwood Unified School District in California. Dr. Onyia has extensive experience in project planning, development, and implementation, conducting research studies and program evaluations in the fields of health, education, and social services. His expertise includes research design, measurement formulation, instrument development, leadership training, teacher quality, curriculum design and development, assessment development, data analysis, inquiry based science instructional strategies, educational policy. He has worked for more than 13 years in the field of educational and human resource development, and works with the US Department Education and California State Department of Education as project director in science education projects and teacher and administration quality projects. He was a secondary school assistant principal, high school summer principal, district science content specialist, biology teacher and adjunct professor in three graduate schools of education in California and Nigeria.
