Dr. DeMille has presented at various conferences including: National (NSF, NCTM, NCSM), State (CMC, CERA, CLHS, CLAS, GSE, Asilomar Symposium, Professional Development Conference), County (OCMC, Academy of Excellence, MATH A, MATH B, TASEL-M, School Boards Association), and District levels. She has served on committees as Conference Chair for Orange County Mathematics Conference, Printing Chair and Featured Speakers Chair for California Mathematics Council - Southern Section, Program Chair for Los Angeles County Framework Conference, and Planning Committee for the Asilomar Leadership Symposium.
Dianne was the State Coordinator for the Golden State Exam (GSE) - Mathematics Development Teams and served as a Reviewer, Chief Reader for scoring. She served on the CLAS (California Learning Assessment System): Mathematics Assessment Development Team (MADT) and the Performance Levels Task Force, as well as a scorer, table leader, chief reader, and California Dept. of Education representative for scoring sites. Her work includes several projects for California Department of Education as a committee member and presenter for state projects including: the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) Panel Member, Professional Development, District, Parent, Teacher, Student Guides, Remediation Guide, School Boards Association - Keynote Speaker, California High School Exit Exam; California Distinguished School Awards and Blue Ribbon Awards Reviewer and chairperson, and Reviewed and Approved - Local Assessments.
Dr. DeMille has served as a Professor for the Masters Action Research Project Courses for University of Phoenix, Online since 2001.
