The National Research Council's 2000 report, "How People Learn: Brain, Mind, Experience, and School: Expanded Edition" will serve as the central focus of this workshop. MSP teams will participate in interactive sessions that illustrate how the research is synthesized in "How People Learn" and other reports and can be applied to the work being done by MSPs.
Participants will receive a free CD-ROM containing "How People Learn" and 12 other NRC education reports pertinent to human learning, cognition, reading and the learning and teaching of mathematics and science. The agenda for the workshop, our goals and objectives, and a registration form are found at the website.
