Keck Center
500 Fifth Street, NW, Room 100
Washington, D.C. 20001

The National Academies and the National Science Resources Center are pleased to invite you and your MSP colleagues to participate in an interactive workshop on learning.

The National Research Council's 2000 report, How People Learn: Brain, Mind, Experience, and School: Expanded Edition will serve as the central focus of these sessions. Other activities illustrating how the research is synthesized in How People Learn and other NRC reports (e.g., Knowing What Students Know, Adding It Up) can be applied to the work being done by MSPs also will be a major theme of the workshop.

Participants will receive a free CD-ROM containing How People Learn and 12 other NRC education reports pertinent to human learning, cognition, reading and early childhood education, and the learning and teaching of mathematics and science. Click on the link below to see the agenda for the workshop, our goals and objectives, and the registration form.
