International Teacher-Scientist Partnership Conference

Dear Colleagues-

Registration is open for the 2nd International Teacher-Scientist Partnership Conference. It will be held February 11th and 12th in San Francisco.

We hope you will consider joining partnership professionals, teachers, and scientists from a range of institutions and funded through a variety of mechanisms as we build community and share expertise. This conference is a great opportunity to develop "synergistic interactions" with other partnerships from universities, museums, and in the community at large.

The program will include sessions of interest to both new and experienced stakeholders in teacher-scientist partnerships. With a keynote discussion on science education between Bruce Alberts and Shirley Malcom, the conference will include a mix of sessions, workshops, working groups, a poster session, and networking time. Conference topics will include: partnership models, preparing teachers and scientists for partnership work, supporting rural partnerships, evaluation, dissemination, among many others.

The Conference is jointly led by UC San Francisco's Science & Health Education Partnership (SEP) and AAAS.

Registration deadline: Monday, January 12, 2015. The registration fee is $175 ($75 for students and teachers).
