Greenhouse Design: An Engineering Unit

Abstract

It is well documented that students learn better when they actively engage in their learning, thus this unit uses student-centered pedagogies to teach students the science content related to the engineering design. The teacher does not deliver a vast amount of information about grassland ecosystem in Northern Australia; instead, students seek that information.
