Defining 'Professional Development' in Relation to Student Achievement: A Synthesis of Selected Partnerships' Evaluations

Abstract

This study is one in a series of briefs for the Math and Science Partnership Program Evaluation (MSP-PE), conducted for the National Science Foundations Math and Science Partnership Program (NSF-MSP), focused on the surface features of professional development activities. These features have been the topic of several studies already completed by the ongoing cross-site evaluation of the MSP Program.
