research2practice.info

Description

This new website, http://www.Research2practice.info, selects peer-reviewed research studies of formal and informal science education and distills them, into well written, short, practitioner-friendly briefs. This FREE website will be of interest to all informal educators as well as to K-12 teachers. Led by researchers from the Exploratorium Center for Informal Learning and Schools, the University of Washington LIFE Center, and King's College London, the project is funded by the National Science Foundation and is an experiment to see if current peer-reviewed educational research can be made available, accessible, and useful to practitioners. Briefs will continue to be loaded over the summer, and you can sign up to be tweeted or receive a monthly digest to be kept up to date with what is being published.
