The Next Step Using Longitudinal Data Systems To Improve Student Success

Abstract

Phase I of the Data Quality Campaign helped states identify necessary components of state longitudinal data systems, a vital first step to continuous improvement and, ultimately, student success. A new brief from the DQC lays out Phase II of the campaign: identifying what policies and practices need to be in place so that stakeholders throughout the education system can have access to, understand and be able to use this information effectively.
