ETS has released a report that examines a variety of data and measures beyond those that are typically reported to help readers more fully understand educational achievement and the achievement gap in the United States. The authors examine a range of available "windows" on achievement, including child development prior to school, proficiency in kindergarten, achievement growth in school, demographics and the U.S. achievement compared to 21 other industrialized nations.
