"The Appalachian Mathematics and Science Partnership (AMSP), an integrated initiative of nine institutions of higher education (IHE), fifty-one school districts, the Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation, and the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence, is nearing the end of the second year of a comprehensive, five-year program of rural education reform in mathematics and science. This Annual Progress Report summarizes project activities and findings over the most recent funding year in alignment with strategic goals detailed in the AMSP Five-Year Strategic Plan. Section IV, Implementation Plan for Year Three, contains plans for continued implementation of project initiatives."
