NCSM Report Summary Service
Description
The Report Summary Service (RSS) is a low-to-no-pain way for educators, policymakers, and business leaders to get a sense of the purpose and contents of key reports on mathematics (and, sometimes, science) education. The summaries are designed to:- reduce lengthy reports to 2-4 pages
- present the gist of the full reports in a standard, but flexible, format
- provide an overview of each report's structure, conclusions, and recommendations
- identify and briefly describe each report's publisher
- provide a web address from which the full report can be downloaded or purchased
Summaries do not evaluate a report's methodology, conclusions, or recommendations, but some do include cross-references to supporting or conflicting reports.
