"Watertown High School junior Garen Chiloyan said he would likely be spending any other rainy Saturday indoors watching movies. But this past Saturday, the statistics student spent the day in a tent at the Boston Museum of Science instead, standing proudly next to his award-winning math project.
But for Chiloyan and other high school students from Watertown, Arlington, Chelsea and Lawrence, the Focus on Mathematics math exposition wasn't just all work and no play. The hobbies, interests and passions of the 102 students showcased were on display too, and in many cases formed the basis for highlighting their achievements in statistics, geometry, algebra and calculus."
