On March 30, Melendy Lovett, Senior Vice President of Texas Instruments,
visited Canton City Schools to observe the work that they are doing
with graphing calculators and the TI Navigator system which links them
together. Along with Melendy was Bert
Waites, who was one of the inventors of the graphing calculators.
Our MSP Teacher Coach Pam Rorrer has been instrumental in
coaching teachers in the new system.
On
May 3-4, Texas Instruments brought a film crew to film teachers using the Navigator system to use for training and promotion.
