Education and the Economy: Our School Performance Matters

Abstract

"Improving on the system that has had stagnant results for as long as we have measured results will not come by doing more of the same. Improvements are vital to our national well-being. Delay in moving on them will have real and important effects, albeit ones that are difficult to see in the short run."
