What Works Clearinghouse

Description

On an ongoing basis, the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) gathers studies of the effectiveness of educational interventions (programs, products, practices, and policies). A team reviews the studies, and reports on the strengths and weaknesses of those studies as measured by the WWC Evidence Standards, recommending those that meet their criteria for scientific evidence.

Read the July 14, 2004 Education Week article to learn more about positive reaction to the WWC release of study reports. (Please note, free registration is required to view this article.)
